Office of Natural Resources and Environment Policy and Planning (NREPP) cooperates with Pracuap Khirikhan Provincial Governor, Hua Hin City Municipality Office and other governmental sectors to organize a project of “Shady Road & Livable City”

Both sides of Phetkasem Road from Hua Hin airport to Chivasom Resort will be free of billboards and other advertisements which obstruct driving vision. In the middle of the road there will be colorful trees and flowers in various shapes, as those electricity wires are put underground.

Moreover assorted plants are also planted in other areas of Hua Hin in the hope of increasing more shady areas and preventing global warming situation confronted by Thailand at the moment.

Ms.Nisakorn Kosit-Rat, Permanent Secretary of NREPP has said now a lot of carbon dioxide is being launched by vehicles in Hua Hin, if more trees are planted to increase oxygen and bicycles are used instead of cars, better life in Hua Hin is not difficult to be expected.
