This year (2011) is regarded as the auspicious year of the Thais, that is the The Celebration on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King's 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2011. Hua Hin, where Klaikangwon Palace is located, has played the main role of a royal residence when HM the King is working on various projects for the happiness of his citizens. Moreover HM the King is also the soul and pride of all Hua Hin and Prachuap Khirikhan residents.

To express the royalty and to remind HM the King's kindness, Prachua Khirikhan Province, Hua Hin District, Hua Hin City Municipality and other government and private sectors together organize a project of The Celebration on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King's 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, 5th December 2011with these following activities;

1. Offering alms to those 509 monks at Clock Tower at 07.00 am. (Dec. 5th)
2. HM the King Blessing Parade on Phetkasem Road at 05.00 pm.
3. Candlelight ceremony beside the Hua Hin Municipality Office
4. During 2nd – 11th Dec: Food / Shopping / Music at Suan Luang Rachinee Public Park

To celebrate the auspicious year, let's do these at offices and your areas;
1. Improve and keep clean in your area for better eyesight
2. Pierce HM King's Emblem Flag and national flag in front of your places
3. Decorate an arch with HM the King's photo/ picture
4. Join the candlelight ceremony on Dec. 5th at 20.45 at the public park or in front of your places
